Open 10K Race Series - All Welcome

Ten races across 4 scenic Sydney courses

First race 7am Saturday, February 5th,

Then... same time on the first Saturday of each month

Last race Saturday, November 5th.

Entry Fee Races 1 to 9: $15 for Visitors, $5 for Striders, Race 10 is a charity run, Members $10, Visitors $20 - (Entry includes refreshments).

Registration from 6:30am on race day only.

NOTE: Race 10 at Lane Cove is a charity run. $10 members and $20 visitors with a donation to The Friends of Lane Cove National Park.

Rules

The 10k Series points score and awards are for Sydney Striders, but all are welcome to run

Striders must be financial at time of event to gain points

Age Group for the Series is based on age as at 30 June

Best 8 results to count

Last Race is double points

1st place 50 points, 2nd 46 points, 3rd 43 points, 4th 41 points, 5th 40 points, reducing by 1 point for each position with a minimum of 2 points to be scored.

Official Marshals gain 10 points less than last runner (minimum 2 points)

Striders uniform (at least top) gains 10 points per race need gear? email

Awards for Handicap, Age and Gender adjusted, and male and female in Open, PreVet, Veteran, Masters, Seniors, and Super Seniors.
