Forster Ironman Triathlon Results

This was the Australian Ironman Triathlon Championship and is also an official qualifying event for the Hawaii Ironman in October this year.
The event is held at Forster, NSW.
Distances are 3.8km swim, 180.2km bike ride, 42.2km run.

It was a tough day for us all. A solid 5 hours was spent standing on the main corner into town with the list of competitors and shouting our lungs out. Next year I will do more training for the event and perhaps take a chair.
The two Striders who were in their 'Striders uniforms' were very easy to spot, especially on the cycle leg were it is very hard trying to eyeball people you known as they pass by you so fast (thanks John P and Murray, you made our job much easier).
