Once again the Sydney Striders made up the biggest contingent of runners (and supporters!) with 48 out of a 280 official starters. It must have been the prospect of Super Series points !

A very gentle rain for the start, and around 18 degrees and humidity was 82% (according to the 5 am weather report) made conditions ideal.

The ladies really shone this year, with Xandra Dunn first in the F40 category and Tina Campbell first in the F50.
