The Homebush 10K race is held at Wentworth Common in Sydney Olympic Park. The race is a flat double out and back, traffic free course following pathways through Sydney Olympic Park.
Registration and meeting area is at Wentworth Common near the picnic shelters and playground. Access to the Common is off Marjorie Jackson Parkway. There are toilets at the registration area.
Parking is available at Majorie Jackson Parkway Public Car Parking, Bennelong Parkway Public Car Parking, Sydney Archery Centre, and along Australia Ave and Olympic Boulevard.
The race starts at 7.00 am with a time limit of 60 minutes. There is an early start option from 6.30 am. The start line is near the picnic area on the loop pathway around Wentworth Common.
Runners complete a lap of the Wentworth Common before turning onto the pathway besides Haslams Creek. They follow the pathway through Sydney Olympic Park and turn onto Hill Road. Runners turn around on Hill Road and return along the same pathways to Wentworth Common. They repeat the out and back leg and finish on the oval at Wentworth Common. There will be marshalls along the course and each kilometre is marked.
Water, soft drinks, fruit and sweets are available at the finish of the race.
